Why us

I have been teaching Spanish for the past 20 years at the college, high school, and middle school level. After completing my Master’s and Doctorate in Spanish language and literature at the University of Virginia, I taught for the next four years at the University of Richmond. After moving back home to Austin, I spent the next three years teaching at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Middle School, followed by four more years at St. Stephen’s Upper School. I have taught many levels and courses in Spanish, including Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Language, Conversation, Introduction to Spanish Literature, Spanish Culture and Civilization, and advanced literature courses focused on Latin America. I have also tutored 1-on-1 with students of all ages, from elementary school to adults.
