For Students between the High Beginning 2 - Advanced levels

This 8-day immersion program offers a unique opportunity to deepen your Spanish while experiencing the history, culture, and everyday life of Salamanca, one of Spain’s most beautiful and renowned university cities. Known for its golden sandstone architecture, lively plazas, historic university, and walkable city center, Salamanca is an ideal place to practice Spanish both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll take three hours of Spanish class each morning, Monday through Friday, with local teachers, followed by cultural activities, guided visits, and time to explore the city in the afternoons. The program also includes excursions to nearby destinations such as Segovia and Sierra de Francia, where local guides will help bring the region’s history, architecture, and traditions to life. Each trip is capped at 12 students, giving you plenty of opportunities to practice your Spanish with fellow students and the two Language House teachers leading the trip. You’ll enjoy breakfast each morning at the hotel, walk together to the nearby language school, and share most meals with our group, giving you opportunities to experience local Spanish cuisine, wine, and regional specialties along the way. PRICING:

8-day trip starts at $4400, single occupancy; Double occupancy (limited availability) may be available for discounted price; Final prices determined by number in group.

This trip is organized and led by our partner company, Travel Grackle LLC. (Virginia Talley is the founder).

TRIP INCLUDES:

  • Transportation for all included program activities.  

  • Transportation to and from airport & hotel on day of arrival & departure.

  • Spanish classes M-F, 3 hours per day.

  • Full program of cultural activities organized by The Language House.

  • Cooking class & wine tasting.

  • Bilingual trip leaders and local guides.

  • Breakfast each morning, most lunches & dinners.

  • Entrance fees to museums and activities in itinerary.

  • Meals include non-alcoholic beverages and limited alcohol.

  • All gratuities for activities in itinerary.

TRIP DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Round-trip airfare from the U.S. to Spain.

  • Personal items such as laundry, fax or telephone calls, room service, excess baggage charges, medical expenses and private transfers.

  • Activities not included in itinerary.

  • Trip cancellation fees.

  • Travel insurance.

  • Unlimited alcohol at meals.

  • Any increases in the in-tour airfare (included as part of the program cost), airport taxes, security, or fuel surcharges imposed after the initial pricing of this program are not included.
