Join us for a workshop with Gabi to review preterit and imperfect in context on Wednesday, October 21, from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Language House. Please note that the level is for students in Intermediate 1 or higher. Cost to attend is $50.

Practice telling stories in the past by combining completed events with background details, ongoing actions, and past habits. We’ll explore how the preterit and imperfect work together and how your choice of tense shapes the meaning of a story.

The workshop will begin with a clear review of both tenses and the most important grammar rules, followed by targeted practice with individual students taking turns responding. We’ll finish with conversational questions that help you put what you’ve learned into context.
