Deposit for Group Classes

The Language House accepts cash, check (made out to Virginia Talley or the Language House), Venmo or PayPal (Friends & Family). If you need to use a credit card, you can pay via “Checkout”, but please note that you will see a 6% fee added on to the normal price for credit card usage.

For group classes: After confirming your level with Virginia and making sure that there is space in the class, please secure your spot by sending a deposit of $100 with one of the payment methods above.

The second payment for the class is due the week before a class begins. The final payment is due halfway through the class. Virginia will send you a reminder for payment if you have not paid the balance halfway through the course.

Cancellation Policy for Group Classes

If you need to drop out of a group class, please let us know as soon as possible. If a students cancels less than one week before the first class or once a course has started, we cannot refund the course tuition. We are a small business and we expect that students who have signed up for a course will pay their full tuition.

Payment for Private Classes

If you need to miss a class, the teacher will send you the email summary from class as well as the Zoom recording. Unfortunately we cannot schedule makeup classes.

If a student cancels a private class less than 24 hours before the scheduled date, the student is responsible for the full rate for that class. Please do your best to communicate well in advance if you are aware of upcoming conflicts.

Payment for private classes is due the day the class. If you forget to pay, we will send you an invoice. Please do your best to pay the invoice within 24 hours of class.
